How To Get Perkpoints In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

In this game, you receive a Perkpoint each time you progress a primary stat or skill. There are four main stats to develop, but there are also fifteen skills and combat skills to enhance, each having unique methods of earning experience points (XP). The XP level for each skill and primary stat can be monitored through the Player menu in your inventory, giving you insight into how much further you need to go before receiving the next Perkpoint. However, derived and secondary stats cannot be leveled up with XP, so you won’t get a Perkpoint every time they increase.

You can see your total number of Perkpoints available at the bottom of the Player Menu.

How To Use Perkpoints In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

As a gamer, I find myself standing at the brink of nineteen opportunities to advance, each offering skill points upon elevation. With every level-up, I’ll have the freedom to invest my hard-earned Perkpoints into unlocking fresh perks for any of these skills or stats. It’s all about strategy and personal preference since there are no restrictions on how I choose to spend my Perkpoints. Interestingly, even if a skill was used to earn a Perkpoint, it doesn’t mean that point must be spent on the same skill. And whenever I manage to unlock a perk for a skill, I’ll typically find two intriguing options available for just one Perkpoint!

You can save your Perkpoints for whenever you’re ready to choose which skills are most important to you, with no time constraints on when you can use them.

Improving just one skill may come with certain restrictions, but boosting all skills provides enough experience points to decide which abilities to prioritize and enhance by unlocking their associated perks. Perks that have a gray background can be acquired as soon as you have a Perkpoint available, while any perks you can unlock will display a yellow star in the top right corner when you possess Perkpoints. In total, there are 275 different perks to acquire. You can enhance nineteen distinct skills and stats by leveling them up.
