8 teams participated in yesterday’s NCAA gymnastics semifinals: LSU, Oklahoma, Florida, Utah, UCLA, Missouri, Michigan State, and Alabama. The top-seeded and defending champion team, LSU, as well as Florida (ranked third), Michigan State (eighth), and Alabama (eleventh) were all knocked out of the competition. This means that only Oklahoma, Utah, UCLA, and Missouri will be competing in tomorrow’s Championship Final. Interestingly, this is a historical moment for Missouri as it marks the first time they have qualified for the finals in the entire history of their program.
