The conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt is joining Fox News.
Fox announces that Hewitt will be contributing to the company, offering analysis across various platforms. His first appearance on Fox News in his new position will take place this afternoon during Bret Baier’s Special Report.
Previously, Hewitt worked as a columnist for The Washington Post, and presently, he hosts The Hugh Hewitt Show on Salem Media Networks. Notably, he’s been a frequent guest on Fox.
For several decades, he has been a regular feature on both conservative and mainstream broadcasts, serving as co-host for the nightly news and public affairs program “Life & Times” on KCET-TV, PBS Los Angeles’ affiliate, and contributing to publications such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and the Los Angeles Times, among others.
Apart from that, Hewitt is renowned for penning fourteen books, among which are two titles that made it to the top of the New York Times bestseller list. Prior to his stint in the private sector, he served in both the Nixon and Reagan administrations.
Hewitt is an advocate for President Donald Trump’s policies, but he isn’t afraid to express his dissent when it comes to methods he finds objectionable.
