As a movie enthusiast who’s been following the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) closely for years, I must admit that I was truly astounded by the remarkable box office success of “Deadpool & Wolverine” during its opening weekend. Having attended numerous premieres and keeping track of ticket sales, I can confidently say that this film left other recent releases in the dust.
Although Deadpool & Wolverine have generated tremendous excitement and rave reviews, surpassing Avengers: Endgame‘s record-breaking $858 million domestic box office will be a challenge due to its R-rating. This restriction may prevent many kids from watching it in theaters, leading their parents to wait for its release on Disney+ where they can control the content more closely. However, the film’s success thus far is still a triumph for Disney and the Marvel brand.
