Hugh Jackman, Kate Hudson to Star in Neil Diamond Tribute Band Movie ‘Song Sung Blue’

As a gamer with a deep appreciation for music and movies, I’m thrilled about the upcoming project “Song Sung Blue” starring Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson. Having grown up listening to Neil Diamond’s iconic tunes, I can only imagine the energy these two powerhouses will bring to a tribute band!

Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson are set to appear in the movie titled “Song Sung Blue,” which follows the story of a group that pays tribute to the legendary artist, Neil Diamond.

Craig Brewer, known for ‘Dolemite Is My Name’, is set to pen and direct a new project inspired by the 2008 documentary of the same name by director Greg Kohs. This project revolves around two struggling musicians who create a band paying tribute to the artist behind “Sweet Caroline”.

In addition to Michael Imperioli, Fisher Stevens, and Jim Belushi, the cast will also include Ella Anderson, King Princess, Mustafa Shakir, and Hudson Hilbert Hensley.

John Davis, John Fox, and Brewer are collaborating under the banner of Davis Entertainment for production. Erika Hampson and Greg Kohs will serve as executive producers.

Upcoming films such as “Focus,” currently playing in theaters on “Piece by Piece,” and the anticipated awards contender “Conclave,” will be handled domestically, while Universal takes care of international distribution.

I, Jackman, recently graced the big screen alongside Deadpool and Wolverine. Next up, I’ll be featured in A24’s film, “The Death of Robin Hood.” As for Hudson, you can catch them on Netflix’s upcoming series, “Running Point.
