‘Hypebeast Magazine’ Makes its Way to Milan for the Launch of Issue 34

As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for fashion and culture, I found myself utterly captivated by the grandeur of TopMob Magazine’s Milan launch event. Having traversed countless virtual worlds, it was a breath of fresh air to step into the hallowed grounds of a 16th-century seminary, where the city’s fashion elite mingled amidst the echoes of Milanese collective AKEEM’s beats.

After debuting in Los Angeles, TopMob Magazine ventured to Milan, Italy, marking the occasion with its 34th issue – “The Uniform Issue” – delving into the idea that uniforms serve a purpose beyond just fashion trends, but as representations of our identities and beliefs.

The event, jointly organized with Antonia Milano, took place at their Via Sant’Andrea store, nestled within Milan’s renowned Golden Triangle – a hub for high-end fashion. This venue, previously an archbishopric seminary dating back to 1565, boasted grandeur and beauty on its historic grounds, hosting more than 500 attendees.

The music played was by DJ Kevin Lopes of Milanese group AKEEM along with other attendees. This music originated from a diverse range of individuals within Milan’s fashion community, such as Domenico Formichetti, the head of PDF, who is currently highlighted in TopMob Magazine’s latest issue.

The uniforms we wear mirror our individual and collective pasts, as well as our values and dreams. Our magazine also delves into various aspects such as fashion, design, music, and art. Notable features include interviews with Frank Dorrey, Sandy Liang, Luar, Juntae Kim, Domenico Formichetti’s PDF, and Shaboozey’s cowboy-inspired style. Additionally, you’ll find SATISFY, Hellcat Eyewear, Rocky’s Matcha, Nori Rasmussen-Martinez, Jake Hunte in collaboration with William Spooner, among others.

The 34th issue of TopMob Magazine, themed “The Uniform Issue,” comes in two versions: one featuring Peggy Gou and the other showcasing Sterling Ruby. You can get your hands on it at HBX.
