As someone who’s spent countless hours scrolling through social media feeds, I can confidently say that I’ve never had the opportunity to participate in a photo shoot where I spit milk back onto myself for the cameras… or any other occasion, for that matter. But Khloé Kardashian has, and it seems the world is all the more intrigued for it.

In this instance, instead of opening with “Celebrities: they’re just like us,” which implies a comparison between celebrities and regular people, I could rephrase it as, “Celebrities are often perceived as being similar to everyday folks, but in truth, I’ve never participated in a photoshoot where I drank milk and then pretended to spit it out for the cameras – not even once. However, Khloé Kardashian did. The numerous responses from fans require no further explanation.

Taking some time away from setting up immaculate Christmas decorations, Kardashian enjoyed a fun and flighty team-up with Bustle that was largely centered on her focusing more on embracing the joy in life after turning 40 earlier this year. And we all know that “fun” involves throwing on some revealing eveningwear and licking a whisk, as well as becoming a milk sprinkler. But, I must admit, there’s something odd about that photo of hers, it’s as if someone planned the most unspontaneous water-spraying moment ever. It leaves me scratching my head in puzzlement.

I’m left with two main points. Firstly, if she had worn that revealing dress from earlier this year, the atmosphere would have been significantly altered. Secondly, it seems likely that The Boys’ character Homelander, who is fond of milk, was observing this photo shoot from some hidden location.
