Following a four-year tenure, Ib Kamara is relinquishing his position as editor-in-chief at Dazed. This fashion luminary, who’s not only a key stylist but also the creative head of Off-White™, will unveil his last issue with the magazine in June.
In the year 2021, Kamara began working for the magazine, where he skillfully combined high-profile cover articles featuring celebrities like Rihanna, Harry Styles, A$AP Rocky, among others, with shining a light on emerging creative minds. His work consistently advocated for various social causes, such as women’s rights, LGBTQ+ rights, Indigenous rights, and issues related to police brutality, hijab bans, environmental regulations, and more.

Kamara expressed his gratitude towards Jefferson, Sus, and the entire Dazed crew for consistently allowing us unrestricted creative freedom. He is incredibly proud of his team and everyone he has collaborated with in the Dazed magazine.
He remarked, “I’ll always cherish the privilege of being one of the creative pioneers on this legendary platform. Now joining its esteemed alumni, we will collectively mold its culture even further. Lastly, I eagerly anticipate the future of Dazed and am thrilled for what lies ahead – as the torch is passed and new opportunities open up for a fresh wave of creators, eager to share their perspectives.
Dazed has not yet announced Kamara’s successor.
