On May 8, 2025, Ileana D’Cruz re-shared a parenting post on her Instagram Stories. One of her many fans responded in a direct message, expressing that children should learn that traits like cruelty, wickedness, unkindness, and selfishness are not attractive qualities. This comment caught the attention of the Rustom actress, prompting her to share her thoughts on the matter.
Expressing her feelings candidly about the issue, the actress from Barfi’s film expressed, “I don’t wish for my kids to ever believe they must ‘prove’ my affection. That’s undoubtedly the most unpleasant sensation I’ve known – feeling ‘unworthy’.

Later on, Ileana made clear that she aspired to nurture contented, wholesome, and compassionate children, much like many other parents. To achieve this, she vowed to make every effort to instill in them the knowledge of how valued they are. As she voiced her views, she also emphasized that everyone is free to approach things in their unique way.
Addressing the intriguing fan comment that sparked the actress’s interest, the individual expressed, “Love, much like respect and joy, must be gained. It’s not improper to pursue love… However, we should instruct children not to chase individuals based on their reactions to our positive traits, but rather to foster them so that people are naturally drawn to us.” (sic)
Behind the scenes, Ileana D’Cruz tied the knot with Michael Dolan secretly in May of 2023. The couple was blessed with their first child, a boy named Koa Phoenix Dolan, in August of that same year. Earlier this year, the actress from the film Raid shared the news of her second pregnancy in her New Year message.
