I’m Even More Pumped For Snoop Dogg Joining The Voice After The Olympics Now That I’ve Seen This Sweet Promo With Gwen Stefani

As a child of the ’90s who grew up grooving to the beats of Snoop Dogg and Gwen Stefani, I couldn’t be more thrilled about their upcoming collaboration on The Voice! With decades of experience in music and entertainment under their belts, these two icons are bound to bring a fresh and electrifying dynamic to the show.

Over the past fortnight, Paris wasn’t just a destination for the world’s elite athletes preparing for the 2024 Olympics; it was also a star-studded event with numerous celebrities in attendance. From Christopher Meloni enjoying the events to Eva Mendes, Ryan Gosling, and others cheering from the crowds, the city attracted many famous faces. However, some, such as Kelly Clarkson and Snoop Dogg, were paid to be present. Witnessing the vibrant performance of Snoop Dogg in France has only increased my anticipation for his appearance on The Voice, particularly with the release of his and Gwen Stefani’s latest promotional material.

As the 26th season of “The Voice” kicks off on TV schedules on September 23, 2024, newcomers Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé will make their debut as coaches. Joining them will be defending champion Reba McEntire and returning coach Gwen Stefani. This season aims to address the main criticisms of the singing competition, and the inclusion of Snoop Dogg is particularly exciting. To be honest, it’s hard to imagine two coaches looking more iconic together than Snoop Dogg and Gwen Stefani in this NBC promo!

Growing up in the ’90s with these artists’ tunes as my soundtrack, nothing beats the vibe they created. And let me tell you, Snoop Dogg is a household name for good reason – he’s always a blast to witness! With his extensive experience in music and entertainment, he’s a valuable asset on The Voice. Yet, what I love most about him is his cool demeanor. Even though he knows he might have a shot at winning the show, he keeps it casual, chatting with Gwen Stefani like old friends.

Truthfully speaking, such assertiveness isn’t part of our character. We don’t typically boast about being the best or invincible. Instead, we tend to maintain a more humble demeanor.

It’s entirely plausible that Snoop Dogg would shine as a coach during his debut season on The Voice. His versatility knows no bounds, as demonstrated by his successful music career, publishing a cookbook, hosting Wrestlemania, acting in films and television, creating his own wine line, managing a youth football league, and even maintaining a friendship with Martha Stewart. These accomplishments barely scratch the surface of what this multitalented individual is capable of.

At the Paris Olympics, I was privileged to kick off the inaugural breakdancing competition’s first round as the brigadier’s drummer – a spectacle that ignited the viral sensation of “Raygun” – and I graced the Closing Ceremony with my presence. It only confirmed for me that there can never be too much Snoop Dogg, so let’s hurry up and get to those Blind Auditions already, don’t you think?

I’m excited that in Season 26, he’ll team up with Gwen Stefani, and I believe their dynamic will be entertaining to watch. Plus, I’m eagerly anticipating how he interacts with Reba McEntire. Unfortunately, this unique coaching lineup is only for one season – at least for the moment – as Michael Bublé is the only coach expected back for Season 27.

In the year 2025, it has been confirmed by NBC that Adam Levine, coach on The Voice, will be back, along with returning coaches John Legend and newcomer Kelsea Ballerini. Previously announced, Michael Bublé will also join the team.

Let’s catch Gwen Stefani and Snoop Dogg live this coming Monday, September 23rd at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. You can tune in then! If you miss it, don’t worry – episodes will be available for streaming the next day if you have a Peacock subscription.
