Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul have become parents as they welcomed their daughter named Evaarah Vipula Rahul into their family. It looks like Athiya’s brother, Ahan Shetty, is enjoying his role as an uncle, affectionately referred to as ‘mama’. He recently posted a touching photo with his niece, making for a truly adorable sight.
On his Instagram account, Ahan Shetty posted a few images alongside Evaarah, but without showing her face. The picture captured him tenderly holding the baby while both of them admired the stunning view of the ocean through the window of their room.
Ahan posted some sweet photos, accompanied by the message, “On Duty”. He included an infant feeding bottle and a ‘nazar’ charm emoji in the caption, adding to the cuteness.

For those unfamiliar, Ahan Shetty will appear in Border 2, a follow-up to the much-loved film Border. The upcoming version features Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, and Diljit Dosanjh as well. Directed by Anurag Singh, the movie is planned for release over the Republic Day weekend in 2026. This film is highly anticipated within India and is expected to rule the box office.
Ahan made his first appearance in the movie “Tadap,” directed by Milan Luthria. This film is a blend of romance and action-thriller genres. Tara Sutaria played the main female character. Notably, “Tadap” was a reinterpretation of the Telugu film “RX 100.
In a delightful turn of events, Athiya Shetty and her cricketer husband KL Rahul became parents to their daughter Evaarah (meaning “Gift from God”) on March 24, 2025. The actress had earlier announced her pregnancy on November 8, 2024. Opting to take a break from Bollywood, Athiya decided to step back from the spotlight to fully immerse herself in nurturing her newborn and enjoying motherhood.
Since Evaarah’s arrival, Suniel Shetty can’t seem to get enough of his new baby girl. In a recent interview, the Dhadkan star confessed that he’s constantly glancing at his phone and eagerly makes his way back home.
