In the initial stages of the game ‘Avowed‘, amassing gold can be quite challenging. While there are numerous strategies to generate income within the game, most methods require a significant investment of time without yielding immediate returns. It’s only later in the game that players will start seeing more substantial results.
Fortunately, there are some opportunities to earn extra cash in the game Avowed. One such method is by replicating the Woolf Boots during the Nature vs Nurture mission. To do this successfully, you must follow a specific sequence of actions, otherwise, the money trick won’t function properly.
How To Get Unlimited Money In Avowed
As you advance in the Living Lands, the second area you’ll explore is called Emerald Stair. You’ll eventually come across the bustling Farmer’s Market. It’s important to avoid interacting with any characters here as it could interfere with the glitch. If you’ve already chatted with some, be mindful not to engage Dolina, as this will initiate the Nature vs Nurture quest. You wouldn’t want that because it would prevent the money glitch from working correctly.
After that, make your way northwest to the Grim Wetlands. Continue until you find the Fortified Xaurip Camp. You’ll notice several xaurips there, but they won’t attack you. Ascend the wooden ramps and enter the cave where you will encounter Amadio the Hermit. He’s accompanied by a group of xaurips. Upon engaging him in conversation, consider these dialogue choices:
- How are you standing here among these Xaurips?
- So what? You send them out on raids for your own benefit?
- That makes a lot of sense. What’s your plan?
- You’re just trying to protect the land. I support that.
In the game Avowed, this action will initiate the Nature vs Nurture side mission, an unusual sequence since players often encounter Dolina at the Farmer’s Market before Amadio. After finishing your talk with Amadio, return to the Farmer’s Market and follow the quest marker to find Dolina. Wait patiently for her to engage in conversation with her companion first before you can interact with her. Choose these dialogue options:
- Having xuarip trouble?
- Maybe we can do something about it.
Immediately following our chat, talk to her once more and tell her “I handled your issue. Cancel the rangers’ search.” Now, if you revisit the cave where the Hermit initially stood, “He won’t be there anymore.” It’s a positive indication that the glitch has been successful. Exit the cave and head towards the muddy water to encounter Amadio with a group of Xaurip. Address him and respond appropriately to receive the Wolf Boots as a prize.
In this setup, Amadio consistently provides the same dialogue and reward. This means that by engaging him in conversation multiple times, players can replicate the Wolf Boots an unlimited number of times. Since these boots hold no weight and are valued at 300 coins, it allows for a simple exploit. Essentially, players can keep repeating the conversation to take advantage of this glitch as frequently as they desire. Once you’ve accumulated enough boots, simply sell them to any vendor for additional coins to boost your in-game currency.
