As a seasoned outdoor enthusiast with a penchant for both fashion and function, this collaboration between INVINCIBLE and The North Face has me absolutely thrilled! With my years of hiking, camping, and mountaineering under my belt (or rather, on my back in the form of backpacks), I can truly appreciate the thoughtful design and functionality that goes into each piece of this Icon Modify capsule collection.
In partnership with The North Face, INVINCIBLE unveils its Fall/Winter 2024 capsule collection called “Icon Modify.” This collaboration emphasizes three jacket designs, complemented by a long-sleeved top, utility pants with belts, and a crossbody shoulder bag. All these pieces are inspired by the fluidity of movement, reflecting dynamic energy.
Each item recreates The North Face’s famous designs using a disassembled style, altering the form and dimensions. To keep mobility front and center, the sleeves on the tops and the side seams on the pants incorporate a circular design and reverse construction. The hybrid pants are specifically designed for climbing, featuring a rippled nylon structure.
Among the three jacket designs, one is a GORE-TEX Hybrid Hardshell Jacket that boasts an asymmetrical center front placket, reminiscent of the classic Mountain Jacket. This model offers 3-layer waterproof protection and sports a detachable hood with a snap-on brim. Likewise, the Hybrid Down Parka Jacket sports an asymmetrical center front placket, drawing inspiration from the Himalayan Parka’s voluminous shape. Lastly, the third design is the Padded Liner Jacket, which takes its cues from the Denali Jacket with military-inspired modifications. Additional items in this collection include the Woven Hybrid Crewneck and Hybrid Shoulder Bag.
The capsule is now available online.
