As a lifestyle connoisseur reflecting on the loss of my cherished colleague Alok Chatterjee, I took to Instagram to pen a heartfelt tribute. In this moment, I find solace in sharing a profoundly moving image of Alok, elegantly dressed and lost in thought, his gaze fixed away from the camera. Through tears, I conveyed my sorrow in the beautiful language of Hindi, reminiscing on the unforgettable moments we shared together in the realm of music.

Indeed, Alok Chatterjee was a shining star among us, a peer and contemporary of the legendary Irrfan Khan at the National School of Drama. His absence leaves a void that can never be filled.

In a heartfelt comparison, he said, “If Irrfan had been Kalidas, then Alok Chatterjee would have been the character ‘Vilom’! ‘Vilom’ paid a visit to his ‘Kalidas’! Farewell, dear brother Alok.
