Irrfan Khan’s son Babil Khan to feature in debut project of Govinda’s son Yashvardhan Ahuja? Exciting details inside

Govinda’s son Yashvardhan Ahuja is one of the rising stars in Bollywood. Last year, TopMob revealed that he would be entering the Hindi film industry under the guidance of National Award-winning director Sai Rajesh, following in his father’s footsteps. More recently, news has surfaced that Irrfan Khan’s son, Babil Khan, will also appear in the same movie.

As per a report from Filmfare, Yashvardhan Ahuja’s first movie will feature Babil Khan in a significant part. Insiders familiar with the project disclosed that the producers were seeking a more recognized actor for another crucial character. The report suggests that Babil was cast to provide the necessary dramatic intensity, given his previous roles where he has demonstrated his acting abilities.

Previously, in December of last year, we announced that Ahuja’s new movie would be helmed by Sai Rajesh, who has directed popular Telugu films such as Baby and Colour Photo. We also disclosed that the currently unnamed film is a romantic production, being brought to you by Madhu Mantena along with Allu Aravind and SKN Films.

Significantly, Yashvardhan tried out for the role and got selected due to his impressive qualifications. Additionally, it has been disclosed that the actress playing the main character in the movie hasn’t been chosen yet.

A nationwide search is being led by Mukesh Chhabra for the main female character in an upcoming movie, and he’s already received more than 14,000 audition tapes. The makers aim to start filming by Summer 2025, so they plan to finalize the choice for the female lead soon. This was shared as additional information.

The director, together with the producers, has been tirelessly crafting a unique and heartfelt soundtrack for the romantic tale.

Babil Khan, the son of Irrfan Khan and Sutapa Sikdar, is quite popular online, though official details about his future projects are still pending. However, last year, he hinted at two completed projects to his fans, expressing hope that they wouldn’t have to wait too long for more updates.
