Ibrahim Ali Khan, known for his upcoming Bollywood debut in Nadaaniyan and other projects, has been a hot topic in recent news. On a more private note, there have been whispers about him dating Shweta Tiwari’s daughter Palak Tiwari for a while now. For the first time, Ibrahim has spoken out regarding these relationship rumors.
During a chat with Filmfare, Ibrahim Ali Khan was queried about Palak Tiwari. Instead of delving deeper, the actor opted for brevity, stating, “She’s a good friend and she’s sweet. That’s all” – thus keeping their relationship somewhat under wraps.
On various occasions, Ibrahim Ali Khan and Palak Tiwari have been seen together. In November 2024, rumors swirled that they were enjoying a getaway in the Maldives. A heartfelt video of their embrace at a Diwali celebration spread like wildfire online.
It’s said that the supposed sweethearts showed up at Mumbai airport nearly simultaneously in January 2025. They were both dressed in stylish black ensembles. According to reports, they had just come back from Goa where they celebrated New Year’s Eve together.
Last year, during a chat I had with Screen, my dear daughter Palak’s mom, Shwetha Tiwari, gracefully addressed the speculations about their relationship and expressed that such gossips were not something she found troubling.
Making his first appearance in the movie scene, Ibrahim Ali Khan featured in the romantic comedy titled “Nadaaniyan,” sharing the limelight with Khushi Kapoor. This production was helmed by Shauna Gautam, a former assistant to Karan Johar during the making of “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.” The trio of Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra produced this film. The release of “Nadaaniyan” was on Netflix, but it didn’t garner positive responses from viewers.
In the near future, you can expect to see Ibrahim featured in the action thriller “Sarzameen,” directed by Kayoze Irani. Notable cast members include Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran, with Dinesh Vijan’s production house, Diler, contributing to Ibrahim’s upcoming projects as well.
Currently, Palak Tiwari is preparing for the upcoming horror comedy film titled “The Bhootnii”. Alongside her, this project features Sanjay Dutt, Mouni Roy, Sunny Singh, Aasif Khan, Nick, and other talented individuals. Initially slated for a theater release on April 18, 2025, Good Friday was the planned date; however, it has been pushed back to May 1. This change in schedule means that “The Bhootnii” will now face competition from another film called “Raid 2”.
