It seems the audience may have appreciated the film more than critics, but this doesn’t seem to be reflected in its box office performance. During its opening weekend, it placed third, trailing behind Dog Man, which reclaimed the number one spot yet again, and Heart Eyes, a comedy-slasher romance that premiered at number two.
