Even though Suits LA is a spin-off from the popular show Suits, there are notable distinctions between the two. For instance, Suits doesn’t feature a ghost as a regular character. In contrast, Suits LA introduces an entertainment lawyer portrayed by Stephen Amell who manages his own law firm in Los Angeles. Interestingly, in the premiere episode itself, it was disclosed that the protagonist, Ted Black, had been conversing with a ghost throughout the entire episode, adding a supernatural twist to the storyline.

Moreover, unlike the original, which focused on corporate law, this version delves into entertainment law, providing opportunities for real-life celebrities to guest star and for plotlines involving fictional celebrities to be created.

When Ted isn’t interacting with Eddie, he’s either busy at his law office or experiencing a memory flashback. After criminal attorney Stuart Lane departed from his firm and took numerous employees and clients along, Ted had to quickly adapt to the situation. He continues to grapple with the aftermath as he takes on a murder case for actor Lester Thompson, who stands accused of killing his partner.

In the upcoming episodes, we’ll delve into Ted Black’s journey as he takes up Lester’s cases and grapples with his father’s passing. Additionally, Ted will find himself navigating through a new partnership with Erica and dealing with the loss of his friend Rick, who’s now working for Stuart Lane.
