If you found one Spinosaurus intimidating in “Jurassic Park III”, then prepare yourself as Peacock’s sneak peek from “Jurassic World Rebirth” (opening everywhere on July 2; get your tickets here) significantly raises the dinosaur-stakes, featuring no less than three of these sail-backed beasts terrorizing in open water alongside a Mosasaurus.
Specifically, they’re aiming to discover the delicious humans on board the ship, The Essex – formerly a military patrol vessel and currently captained by Duncan Kincaid, played by Mahershala Ali. Essentially, the mission led by Zora Bennett, who was once a soldier but is now a mercenary (portrayed by Scarlett Johansson), isn’t going too well – as you might guess from my pun – particularly when crew member Bobby Atwater, played by Ed Skrein, meets a similar fate to the anonymous Jurassic Park worker at the beginning of the original 1993 film.
Watch an exclusive clip from Jurassic World Rebirth
For the first time ever, an exclusive clip from “Jurassic World Rebirth” is now available for streaming only on Peacock. Additionally, you can stream the entire Jurassic Park and Jurassic World series on this platform as well.
Approximately five years following the events of “Dominion,” the seventh installment in the series transports us to an undisclosed research facility operated by InGen during the creation of the original theme park. As the island (located near the equator) was abandoned over a decade ago, the discarded genetic experiments, unsuitable for John Hammond’s visionary park, have thrived and multiplied beyond measure.
In an endeavor to utilize the DNA of the largest island creatures to develop a heart disease cure that could save humanity, a prominent pharmaceutical company enlists Zora, Duncan, and their team for sample collection under the guidance of paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomis (portrayed by Jonathan Bailey from ‘Wicked’), a protege of Alan Grant. However, matters become more intricate when the team encounters the stranded Delgado family.
Gareth Edwards, who is known for directing movies like “Godzilla” and “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”, was the director of “Rebirth”. The original script for this film was written by David Koepp, a well-known screenwriter who adapted both “Jurassic Park” and “The Lost World” for the big screen.

When does Jurassic World Rebirth come out?
The end of the wait is nearly here – “Jurassic World Rebirth” will grace the movie screens on this coming Wednesday (July 2). Perfect timing for a fun-filled long weekend getaway! Secure your tickets now through Fandango!
According to FilmRatings.com, the movie titled “Rebirth” carries a PG-13 rating due to scenes featuring heavy violence and action, graphic visuals, some innuendoes, profanity, and one mention of drugs.
