Under a unique collaboration, the brand B:MING by BEAMS, part of a Japanese conglomerate, has teamed up with J.PRESS ORIGINALS to create a joint collection, which they’ve named J:P.
The first collection from the clothing line is centered around a harmonious assortment of essential preppy pieces, showcasing the brands’ mutual admiration for 20th-century menswear. This blend features a variety of smartly tailored basics and accessories, along with branded essentials, making J:P a seamless fusion of modern casual wear and classic collegiate prep style.
As I immerse myself in the gaming world, I can’t help but feel the same level of excitement when donning J.PRESS’s reimagined navy and black blazers. These aren’t just any blazers; they’ve been infused with a unique Japanese touch, crafted to provide a comfortable, breezy fit. The 3-button navy jacket showcases a distinctive feature – golden buttons adorned with the iconic BEAMS sphere emblem. For the trouser enthusiasts, a formal shape akin to the classic BEAMS PLUS 2 pleat pants is available in both tan and black.
As a gamer, I came across some fresh apparel options that caught my eye. There’s this long-sleeve shirt line available in two cool styles – one plain white, the other blue with pinstripes. Both have subtle J.PRESS graphics on the placket, giving them a vintage feel. In the lookbook, I noticed these shirts paired perfectly under jersey sweatshirts, sporting a large J:P logo upfront. To complete the collection, they’ve also got oversized logo tees and neutral-toned caps.
Today, you can find both J.Press by J:P and Beams by BEAMS collections at Japanese retailers who stock the Beams by BEAMS brand.
