After unveiling his initial Dior collection in his role as the new creative director, Jonathan Anderson’s personal brand is now embarking upon a fresh chapter, marking a new epoch.
On Monday, J.W. Anderson unveiled a fresh campaign for its Resort Spring 2026 collection, featuring several well-known personalities such as filmmaker Luca Guadagnino, actor Joe Alwyn, Ben Whishaw, and Hailey Gates modeling the clothing.
According to a press release released on Monday, Jonathan Anderson’s preferred creative method is ‘curating.’ This release explains how everything came together to showcase a revamped J.W. Anderson, which combines fashion with home decor, artisanal items, and various objects. The brand refers to this as a ‘modern-day cabinet of curiosities.’ The logo has been updated, along with the design of a new concept store created by architects Sanchez Benton.
In terms of the highlighted names, the look book showcases creatives alongside models and social media personalities, forming an assortment that reflects Anderson’s “tight-knit group of friends, recurring collaborators, and acquaintances.” Guadagnino collaborated closely with Anderson on two consecutive films, “Queer” and “Challengers,” where Anderson served as the costume designer. The latter film was distributed by Amazon MGM Studios, and Anderson had previously featured Sue Kroll from the studio in a popular Loewe advertising campaign during his time there.
