Sunny Deol is preparing to captivate fans with his upcoming action movie, Jaat. The long-awaited trailer was unveiled at a special event where the entire film crew was present. In a chat with the press, the actor shared his desire to take on a villainous role like his brother Bobby Deol has done in the past. He also disclosed the reasons that prevent him from participating in such films.
During an interview with the press, Sunny Deol was questioned if his screen persona of portraying positive characters has been so robust that he hasn’t received offers for antagonistic roles like those Bobby Deol played in “Animal”. To this, the actor clarified that he doesn’t consider such roles as negative, but rather as intriguing characters he is open to exploring.
He expressed his enthusiasm for taking on a certain role as an actor, stating that he wouldn’t refer to it as “negative,” but rather as a “character.” Moreover, he assured us that he would indeed be delighted to perform in this role. In other words, he didn’t say he wouldn’t do it, but instead emphasized his preference for calling the role a character and expressed his eagerness to participate.
He mentioned that the director and producer must be willing to take a chance on him for the film, as he struggles when people say they wouldn’t want to watch him in such a role. In other words, his hesitation arises when people doubt whether he can pull off such a part.
As a committed enthusiast, I’m eagerly anticipating the release of the movie titled “Jaat” alongside Sunny Deol. The stellar cast includes Randeep Hooda, Saiyami Kher, Regena, Viineet Kumar Siingh, Babloo Prithiveeraj, Ramya Krishnan, Swarupa Ghosh, and others in significant roles. This highly-anticipated production is brought to you by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory, with the exceptional music composed by Thaman S. Mark your calendars for April 10, 2025, as we prepare for its grand premiere on the silver screen.
Furthermore, Deol is involved in other exciting projects such as Border 2 and Lahore 1947. The upcoming sequel to the 1997 war drama film, Border, boasts a star-studded cast including Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, among others.
