Bhuvan inquired about which roles of Jaaved’s he believed could benefit from a standalone series. Upon consideration, Jaaved pointed out that his role as “Crocodile Dundee” from Salaam Namaste was the one that initially garnered attention and grew to be well-liked among viewers.
Later on, he emphasized his notable performances – firstly, his charming role in Dhamaal that resonated with children, followed by his comical depiction of Punjabi pride in Singh Is King which was well-received by audiences. As Jaaved explained, these characters stood out as unique and cherished by fans.
Jaaferi proposed that it’s not just his unique personality, but the captivating duo of Manav Shrivastav and Aditya Shrivastav from the Dhamaal series—with him playing Manav and Arshad Warsi portraying Adi in all three movies—that truly warrants a sequel.
“In fact, I have suggested to Indra Kumar, the director of Dhamaal, to create something on Adi and Manav’s characters — a proper web series featuring Adi and Manav.” Bhuvan, excited by this idea, encouraged viewers to “Sign a petition to create a series on Adi and Manav: #BringBackAdiManav.”

When inquired about the key to his comedic talent, Jaaved revealed that he derived significant knowledge from watching his father’s craftsmanship during an era when Johnny Walker, Mehmood, and Jagdeep each had their unique fan bases.
He recalled his father telling him that his primary audience was not the elite living in upscale areas like Nariman Point and Cuffe Parade, but rather the people from small towns, farmers, and rickshaw drivers—essentially, the true representation of India.
In simpler terms, it can be said that his father pointed out that these groups represented 90-95% of the overall population, and he mainly catered to them in his performances.
