Previously successful PR firm Perception PR has been enlisted to collaborate on the film’s distribution, having previously assisted Neon in guiding “Parasite” towards its Academy Award win. Last year at the Venice Film Festival, Huston made his debut with a film that’s been highly anticipated for awards season. With previous roles in shows like ‘Boardwalk Empire’, ‘Silver Linings Playbook’, and most recently, ‘Mayfair Witches’, Huston isn’t new to the acting world. His family background is deeply rooted in Hollywood, with three Oscar winners among them. Following its initial release, ‘Day of the Fight’ was exhibited at various festivals such as Mill Valley, SCAD, Newport Beach, and Austin, where it received critical acclaim.
Following a lack of sufficient time for an adequate presentation and buildup, the initial release date for the movie has been changed to a global premiere in 2024. The film is anticipated to draw attention from various awards such as Gotham and Spirit Awards for categories including directing, cinematography, and the lead actor’s performance (Brad Pitt).
