As a seasoned gamer and watch enthusiast with a knack for appreciating both digital and physical timepieces, I must admit, the latest offerings from Jaeger-LeCoultre have caught my eye. The new Reverso Tribute Collection has managed to blend tradition and modernity in a way that resonates deeply with me.
Jaeger-LeCoultre recently showcased four fresh additions to its well-known Reverso Tribute Collection. These additions include updated versions of the Reverso Tribute Duoface Tourbillon, the Reverso Tribute Duoface Small Seconds, and a new size option for the Reverso Tribute Monoface.
Wrapped in stainless steel, the latest Reverso Tribute Monoface showcases dimensions of 40.1 inches long and 24.4mm wide – a graceful and slim design ideal for all individuals. It comes in two distinct dial options; one with a blue sunray lacquer dial paired with a matching calfskin strap, and another offering a silver-gray opaline dial accompanied by a golden-tan leather strap.
In contrast to past Reverso Tribute Duoface Tourbillon models that were crafted in precious metals, this latest steel edition brings a modern twist to the design. The material choice mirrors its contemporary feel, with the dial featuring a sleek gray sunray finish that highlights the updated tourbillon mechanism. As per the manufacturer, the outer tourbillon cage has been swapped for a peripheral ball-bearing system, which is driven by Jaeger-LeCoultre’s patented S-shaped hairspring to precisely position the spring and balance wheel on the dial’s surface.
The Reverso Tribute Duoface Small Seconds is restyled in 18k pink gold. It showcases a captivating dark blue dial, polished to give a sunburst effect. The reverse side of the watch now features double applied indices on a silver dial with a sunburst finish, along with a 24-hour display.
