More about Jai Santoshi Maa
I can’t help but feel a thrill run through me as I recall the family drama that was brought to life in 1975. This masterpiece, brilliantly directed by Vijay Sharma, featured some of the most talented actors of the time. Among them were Kanan Kaushal, Ashish Kumar, Rajnibala, Anita Guha, Bharat Bhushan, and many others who graced the silver screen with their exceptional performances.
The movie “Jai Santoshi Maa” begins by depicting the birth of Goddess Santoshi Maa as the daughter of Lord Ganesha in the heavenly realm, Devaloka. A significant character in this narrative is the eternal sage Narada, a devoted follower of Vishnu, who plays a pivotal role in progressing the film’s two interwoven storylines – one involving humans and the other gods.
During this time, Satyavati enters into marriage with Brijmohan. Unfortunately, he gets severely injured in an accident and is believed to have passed away by everyone. However, the movie portrays how Satyavati’s unwavering faith in Goddess Santoshi helps her overcome her hardships.
