Jamie xx Drops Music Video for Club Track “Falling Together”

As a seasoned gamer and music enthusiast who’s been spinning tunes on my turntables since the days of mixtapes and Walkmans, I must say, Jamie xx’s “Falling Together” video is a vibrant, pulsating testament to the essence of camaraderie and the shared joy of dance. The blurry, yet captivating montage of friends moving in rhythm, choreographed by the enigmatic Oona Doherty, resonates deeply with my own memories of late-night escapades on the dance floor.

Jamie xx recently released an official music video for his song “Falling Together.” This tune is featured on his second solo studio album titled “In Waves,” produced in the United Kingdom.

In September, the album “In Waves” was released, marking a much-anticipated continuation from the 2015 masterpiece “In Colour“. This new collection boasts collaborations with Honey Dijon, Kelsey Lu, John Glacier, Panda Bear and Robyn, along with bandmates Romy and Oliver Sim from The xx.

Suitable for a dance track perfect for clubs, the “Falling Together” video is a hazy collection of friends dancing in unison during a night out. The choreography was directed by Oona Doherty, who not only co-wrote the song but also added a monologue to the album.
