In the year 2012, Adil acted as Sridevi’s on-screen spouse in the hit movie English Vinglish, which received both critical and commercial success. Fast forward twelve years, he collaborated with Janhvi in a production named Ulajh. When questioned about any resemblances or variations between Janhvi’s acting approach compared to her deceased mother Sridevi, Adil observed that her talent was evidently passed down, as she demonstrated dedication and sincerity in her craft.
Adil noted that just as Janhvi’s mother did, she demonstrates a keen awareness of herself and the director, meticulously learns her lines, and pays close attention to instructions.
Apart from reminiscing about it, he mentioned that Janhvi frequently stopped by the sets of Gauri Shinde’s film, English Vinglish, when she was 14 years old.
