After completing her work on Homebound, Janhvi shared that she had sent a message to the director expressing her eagerness to work with him again, saying “I’d be happy to portray even a tree in the background of your next film, as long as I’m part of it.” The actress who starred in Dhadak felt privileged to have been on his set and directed by him.

At the 78th Cannes Film Festival, Homebound was shown in the Un Certain Regard category. During its first showing, it received a nine-minute standing ovation from the audience. International critics have praised the film’s narrative and the acting of its cast, earning positive reviews.

Neeraj Ghaywan’s second film, titled “Homebound,” has made its way to a renowned film festival. Alongside Janhvi Kapoor, the movie features Ishaan Khatter and Vishal Jethwa in pivotal roles.
