NBC News published Carter’s statement, which read, “The nature of these allegations is so vile that I urge you to file a criminal complaint instead of a civil one!! Anyone who would commit such a crime against a minor should be imprisoned, wouldn’t you agree? These alleged victims would receive genuine justice if that were the case.” It was also discovered that Carter filed a lawsuit against the attorneys representing the accusers. In his statement, Carter further stated, “You have erred in judgment by assuming all celebrities are alike. I am not from your circle. I hail from the projects of Brooklyn. We don’t engage in such games. We have stringent codes and principles. We protect children.

Legal representatives for Diddy (also known as Combs) vehemently denied the accusations, stating that he firmly trusts in the truth and the justice system. They asserted that Diddy has never engaged in sexual assault or trafficking of any individual – regardless of gender or age. The lawsuit brought forth by Buzbee claims that Jane Doe was escorted to the VMAs at Radio City Music Hall by a friend, who later introduced her to someone working with Diddy and suggested she was what he was looking for. This person invited her to a party after the show, but she was subsequently taken to a white house, where she signed an NDA without receiving a copy. The suit alleges that she was offered a drink that made her feel disoriented, after which Combs and Carter entered the room and declared, “You are ready to party!” The complainant claims that Carter forcibly removed her clothes, held her down, and raped her while Diddy and an unnamed female celebrity watched. Diddy is also accused of participating in the alleged assault. Following the incident, she fled and eventually made it to a gas station. She is seeking unspecified damages and the lawsuit is filed under New York’s Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Act.

It’s unjust that they should shoulder the responsibility of making sense of such unimaginable cruelty, aimed at tearing families apart and crushing human spirit.

My sincere empathy and aid are extended towards those genuine victims worldwide, whose personal tales are commercialized by this unscrupulous attorney, who exploits them for financial gain, often seen in an inexpensive attire.
