Jennifer Garner Celebrates Pride Month with Colorful Rainbow Trees

Here we are in June now, which means we’re in store for some vibrant hues to brighten up our days over the next 30 or so. Some might opt to honor Pride Month by immersing themselves in one of the inspiring biopics highlighting remarkable LGBTQ+ figures, while others are opting for a full-on rainbow makeover. Jennifer Garner, among many others, has taken this approach, decorating her trees with a splash of colors to mark the start of the month. It’s delightful to see how celebrities are embracing and celebrating Pride Month in their unique ways!

The actress whose best work includes 13 Going on 30 and Alias declared June her “favorite time of the year,” as that’s when the rainbow trees grow. OK, so maybe the colorfully wrapped trunks got a little help from Jennifer Garner, but it’s hard to argue with the beautiful result, which she showed on Instagram:

It’s clear that many people, including fans and celebrities, are appreciative of the time and care Jennifer Garner put into decorating her trees for Pride Month. Her comments section is filled with praise from admirers.

Other famous faces didn’t waste time in posting their own celebrations of the queer community. Full House alum Jodie Sweetin said she was “in my element” as she took part in the WeHo Pride Parade this weekend, posting from the parade route:

Jennifer Lopez, meanwhile, has a lot on her plate — including the upcoming rom-com Office Romance with Brett Goldstein — but she took time to tell her fans via Instagram Stories to be proud and remind them that she’s got an entire 2025 Pride playlist on Spotify for their enjoyment this month and beyond:

Among the numerous LGBTQ+ films we’re excited about, with several more slated for release in 2025, Hilarie Burton, who was part of One Tree Hill, is already revisiting some classics. One such film she mentioned is a 2024 movie where her husband Jeffrey Dean Morgan stars.

She also showed her love from New York as she posed in front of a rainbow-colored heart:

Speaking of New York, Lisa Ann Walter of The Parent Trap fame (and also, of course, Abbott Elementary) sent her well-wishes from the Big Apple, posting:

Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson chose a simple throwback photo to ring in the month, posting an Instagram Story selfie of him and his husband Justin Mikita from 2012:

I truly enjoy witnessing famous figures celebrating throughout June, and since last weekend kicked things off, I’m eagerly anticipating all the fun that’s still to come this month! (By the way, I find it especially delightful because it means more opportunities to appreciate the vibrant colors of rainbows.)

If you’re seeking additional films that celebrate the LGBTQ+ community during Pride Month, here are some filmmakers who have significantly influenced queer cinema. Take a look!
