The recently released psychological drama, featuring Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson, has been praised by critics. Although Robert Pattinson is widely recognized for his roles in franchises like Edward Cullen from the Twilight series, Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and Bruce Wayne in The Batman, he’s also worked with several acclaimed directors. These films include Robert Eggers’ The Lighthouse, Christopher Nolan’s Tenet, Bong Joon Ho’s Mickey 17, David Cronenberg’s Maps to the Stars, and Claire Denis’ High Life.
Jennifer Lawrence’s filmography has led her co-star, Robert Pattinson, on a comparable professional path. Notably, she has portrayed Katniss Everdeen in the Hunger Games series and Mystique in the latest X-Men franchise instalments before both characters moved into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, Lawrence gained widespread recognition from her Oscar-nominated role in 2010’s Winter’s Bone, and she has since appeared in movies with more art-house appeal such as Darren Aronofsky’s Mother! and David O. Russell’s Silver Linings Playbook (for which she received an Academy Award).
Die, My Love Has Debuted With A Fresh Rotten Tomatoes Score
The Majority Of Critics Have Given It Positive Reviews
In the upcoming 2025 film “Die, My Love,” two well-known actors will collaborate. This movie is the latest creation from director Lynne Ramsay, who has previously given us “We Need to Talk About Kevin” and “Morvern Callar.” The novel on which it’s based, sharing the same title, was written by Ariana Harwicz in 2017. The story unfolds in a Montana farmhouse, where the protagonist, Grace (played by one of the stars), grapples with mental health issues stemming from postpartum depression and a divorce with her husband, Jackson (portrayed by Pattinson). The film’s impressive cast also includes LaKeith Stanfield, Nick Nolte, and Sissy Spacek.
As a passionate movie enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that the Tomatometer score for “Die, My Love” has been officially calculated by Rotten Tomatoes, based on the influx of early reviews following its premiere at Cannes on May 17. A total of 13 critics’ reviews have been compiled so far. At this moment in time, it’s impressing with a fantastic score of 92%. To my delight, only one review has been less than favorable, while the rest have given it scores of 7 out of 10 or higher. The anticipation is high as more reviews continue to pour in!
