Jensen Ackles’ New Show ‘Countdown’ Has Fans Laughing at Its Suggestive Logo

Enthusiasts who appreciate both the turmoil of R-rated superhero stories and enduring genre television series will have a perfect pairing when Jensen Ackles teams up again with his former co-stars, Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins, on the fifth and final season of ‘The Boys’. However, before this union can captivate fans who subscribe to Amazon Prime, Ackles has another TV series scheduled for 2025, titled ‘Countdown’, although some speculate it bears a more adult-oriented title.

In November 2024, Ackles shared exclusive behind-the-scenes photos from his upcoming series, giving fans a sneak peek into production. Recently, he posted more pictures signaling the end of filming. Fans are eager for the actor to lead another series following his appearance in Season 2 of Tracker, albeit in a limited role. However, some couldn’t help but notice the distinctive logo appearing to include the C-word.

The very first picture leading off Jensen Ackles’ Instagram post focusing on Countdown features a set chair whose backing features a logo where the first “O” in the title is a timer icon with that’s nearly been depleted. Both the lighting and focus make it seem as if the “O” isn’t there, which sparked a slew of amused and confused comments amidst all the thirsty comments and adoration. Here are some of the highlights:

  • The O being worn out from the set chair is 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻 – @officialbrianab
  • Anyone else not notice the “o” in the first pic???? – @dani_rose96
  • Every Aussie is not reading countdown 😂 just saying – @dam01983
  • Can’t wait to see this! 😍 Also…C’UNTDOWN! Who signed that logo off?! 😂😂😂 – @_fifi1990
  • @jensenackles are we just supposed to ignore the chair? – @cammieporter4
  • I think he wanted to see if anyone else would comment about the chair 🙃 – @radhacalico
  • I genuinly read cuntdown. – @popeofcinder
  • I shall forever call it CUNTDOWN now, thanks to that chair! 😆 – @bighopps24

I doubt sincerely that Jensen Ackles or any team member intentionally created the title’s imagery for Countdown to resemble an inappropriate part of the female anatomy on network TV. It seems odd, however, that no one on set found the chairs used throughout production unusual enough to raise a concern and suggest modifications.

It’s quite possible that the chair and logo appear completely normal and unmistakable as the word “Countdown” when viewed under bright, clear conditions and in sharp focus. However, it seems that it was only the unique combination of elements in Jensen Ackles’ photo that made the unfortunate design of the “O” stand out so clearly.

I’m not entirely certain if the following comment is genuinely sincere or just a clever twist on the appearance of the title, but for now, I’ll accept it.

  • Yeah I have no idea what this show name but i will watch it 🔥 – @salvking_kdj

Derek Haas developed the series “Countdown” especially for Jensen Ackles, who plays an LAPD officer named Mark Meachum. After a broad daylight murder that raises suspicions, Meachum is enlisted in a special task force to delve into the case. This team includes undercover agents from various departments.

However, what initially appears as an isolated event escalates into something much bigger and more perilous than anticipated, forcing the task force to collaborate and thwart a malicious plot that threatens the lives of countless innocents. In contrast, Ackles will be tackling this role without his character possessing any superpowers, a departure from his role in his Prime Video series, The Boys, where he’ll continue to feature for the upcoming spinoff, Vought Rising.
