As a fan who’s been following Jeremy Allen White‘s career since his days on Shameless, I can’t help but feel like I’ve grown up with him, just like Carmy Berzatto did in The Bear! His journey from the gritty streets of Chicago to the glamorous world of Calvin Klein is nothing short of inspiring.
Jeremy Allen White stripped down to nothing but his Calvins — again.
The star of the Emmy-winning series “The Bear,” whose popularity skyrocketed following his collaboration with Calvin Klein (and an impressive physique) in their initial campaign launched in January, is once again partnering with the fashion brand. The fall 2024 campaign, set to debut on August 27, was photographed by renowned fashion photographer Mert Alas, who also captured the previous one.
Rather than setting up in Brooklyn, which was familiar territory for White, Calvin Klein opted to move the team to sunny Los Angeles instead. There, the actor was captured on camera at an idyllic hillside estate overlooking the city. The campaign features White modeling the latest offerings from Calvin Klein’s denim and underwear lines. In a statement, White shared his enthusiasm for the project, saying, “Calvin Klein’s style has always been classic, and it was a pleasure to reunite with them and the entire creative team for this fresh campaign.”
When White landed the modeling job, he became part of a Calvin Klein model lineup that includes actors such as Michael B. Jordan, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Brandon Flynn, alongside renowned figures like Kendall Jenner, Hailey Bieber, Jennie Kim from Blackpink, FKA Twigs, Carlos Alcaraz, Troye Sivan, Jung Kook, and more.
Known for his notable role on the long-running series Shameless and his award-winning performance as Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto on the popular FX show The Bear, he also appeared in films such as The Iron Claw alongside Zac Efron, Harris Dickinson, and Stanley Simons. Currently, he’s preparing to take on the role of legendary rocker Bruce Springsteen in a project by writer-director Scott Cooper for 20th Century and Disney.
The Hollywood Reporter got their hands on some unique photos taken backstage, showcasing White (as depicted below).
