Jesse Eisenberg Teases 'Truly Miraculous' Now You See Me 3

As a film enthusiast with a penchant for magic and a soft spot for the Now You See Me franchise, I must say that the news of Now You See Me 3 has left me spellbound! With my extensive experience of watching countless movies (and attempting to perform a few tricks myself, albeit with mixed results), I can confidently assert that this sequel promises to be nothing short of a cinematic miracle.

Lionsgate has hinted at the eagerly anticipated third installment in the acclaimed Now You See Me series, labeling it “remarkably miraculous.” During a screening of his upcoming comedy-drama A Real Pain at the BFI London Film Festival, Jesse Eisenberg disclosed that filming for Now You See Me 3 has been taking place in Budapest, Hungary (incidentally where he injured his finger performing some incredibly challenging magic stunts). Eisenberg also hinted at the exceptional nature of the sequel, which will continue to be directed by Ruben Fleischer.

For the past three months, we’ve been residing in Budapest. Amazingly, I nearly lasted the entire time without any significant breakages. Moreover, the film we’re watching is truly extraordinary. It’s helmed by Ruben Fleisher, marking my fourth collaboration with him on a project.

Each day, we step onto the set and can hardly believe our luck, for the props, the enchantment, the cast – it’s all genuinely awe-inspiring.

Currently, the specifics about the storyline for “Now You See Me 3” are still a secret, but it’s official that Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, and Morgan Freeman will reappear in the upcoming sequel. Additionally, some prominent actors such as Justice Smith from “Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves”, Dominic Sessa from “The Holdovers”, Ariana Greenblatt from “Barbie”, and Rosamund Pike from “The Wheel of Time” are joining the cast in significant roles.

Now You See Me 3 Will Land in Theaters in November 2025

Fans have eagerly been waiting for the arrival of “Now You See Me 3” since its announcement, and now we finally have a release date! Lionsgate is bringing us the much-anticipated sequel to hit theaters on November 14, 2025. Although specifics about the plot are still under wraps, Deadline hinted that the upcoming installment will reunite audiences with the Four Horsemen, while introducing a fresh batch of magical talents. One newcomer among these illusionists is Ariana Greenblatt, who has gained recognition for her roles in “Barbie” and “Borderlands.” She recently shared that she’s been studying hard to prepare for her character in the film.

For the past few days, I’ve visited the Magic Castle almost every other day, honing my magic skills under an exceptional teacher, who happens to be among the best in the field. As a result, I’m getting acquainted with many skilled magicians.
