On Sunday evening, it appeared that Jesse Williams‘ Twitter account was compromised, as an unauthorized user posted a series of disrespectful messages to the account of the actor, producer, and director, which has over 2.1 million followers.

In the stream of messages, a suspected hacker posted tweets such as “Diddy has adorable posterior charms 😍” and “I long for Diddy,” as well as “A shout-out to @Drake for providing me with some ‘young ones.'” (Note: The term “youngies” is used colloquially to refer to young people or individuals who are new to a particular scene or group, not necessarily their age.)
THR has reached out to Williams’ reps for comment.
Williams, renowned for his role as Jackson Avery on Grey’s Anatomy and more recently for producing the Academy Award-winning short film, Two Distant Strangers, and the Tony Award-winning revival of Take Me Out, is seldom seen posting content on X (previously known as Twitter). Instead, this actor tends to share stories from well-known media outlets via retweets.
Williams joins a growing list of celebrities who’ve recently experienced hacking on platform X. Previously, Anna Kendrick, Jessica Alba, and Noah Schnapp have fallen victim to hackers.
