During a chat with Mid-Day, Kunal Kapoor talked about collaborating with Saif Ali Khan, noting that he creates a cheerful ambiance on set through his humor and intelligence. He also mentioned, “He might be chuckling over something just seconds before the camera starts rolling, but then he’s completely serious the next instant. It’s as if a switch is flipped.
In a recent interview, the actor from The Jewel Thief movie spoke about his collaboration with Jaideep Ahlawat. Although they didn’t share many scenes together, he expressed admiration for Jaideep’s authentic on-screen presence. He was impressed by Jaideep’s talent to seem genuinely natural, not only in his acting roles but also in his day-to-day life.
Kunal also spoke candidly about his role and revealed that he switched from using poetic expressions to delivering sharp, concise lines. He expressed enjoyment in adopting a more straightforward method for his character since it doesn’t delve into philosophy but rather chooses the most direct approach. Apart from that, he revealed the toughest aspect of production and disclosed that the strenuous, authentic fight sequence against Saif Ali Khan proved to be equally exhilarating and draining. This particular scene aimed to appear less polished and more genuine than typical choreography.
