Jigra star Alia Bhatt admits PR can’t save 'bad film’, says ‘if it works, you can’t say…’

As a seasoned lifestyle expert with years of observation and analysis under my belt, I must say that Alia Bhatt‘s wisdom and maturity are truly commendable. Her insights into the film industry, particularly her take on the role of promotions in a film’s success or failure, resonate deeply with me.

As a lifestyle expert, I often reflect on the intricacies of the entertainment industry, and one actor who consistently stands out is none other than Alia Bhatt. Known for her exceptional performances and string of successful films, she’s currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming project, “Jigra.

Lately, she discussed her upcoming project and made a point by saying, “You can’t rescue a flawed movie with public relations; you can’t fix a failed movie through public relations. Therefore, if it succeeds, you can’t attribute it to public relations. That’s the crucial distinction—draw the boundary and try to comprehend.

Additionally, she discussed the experience of being under public scrutiny and the temptation to exaggerate personal details. The renowned actress, Alpha, expressed that showcasing specific aspects of one’s life or work in the entertainment industry isn’t inherently wrong. Nevertheless, she emphasized that it can lead to harmful and negative consequences when truthfulness is compromised.

In these situations, she underscored the importance of people pausing to discourage the dissemination of falsehoods. Furthermore, she pointed out that no matter how often a false statement is repeated, it doesn’t transform into truth; a lie will forever be a lie.

In the meantime, Vasan Bala’s film titled “Jigra” will be premiering in cinemas on October 11, 2024. Alongside her, Vedang Raina and Manoj Pahwa play significant characters in the movie. Additionally, she is currently involved in the production of Shiv Rawail’s spy film “Alpha,” produced by YRF, alongside Sharvari Wagh. They recently wrapped up filming in Kashmir and shared a post about it on their social media.

Apart from Alia, it is also reported that she’ll be part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film titled “Love and War,” starring Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. The shooting for this period drama is expected to commence with the male leads in October 2024, followed by Alia joining the team in December 2024.
