Disney is filling a key executive post in its unscripted division.
Jilly Pearce has recently taken up the position of Senior Vice President for Unscripted Programming at both ABC Entertainment and Hulu Originals, within the Disney company. Previously, she held the role of President at Objective Media Group America, which is part of All3Media.
Jilly Pearce is now working as a high-ranking executive for unscripted shows at both ABC Entertainment and Hulu Originals, having been hired by Disney. Before this, she was the boss at Objective Media Group America, a company owned by All3Media.
In her latest position, Pearce will manage the creation of reality shows that air on both ABC and Hulu. Additionally, she’ll supervise their existing programming lineup, which includes shows like “Dancing With the Stars” and “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.” She answers to Rob Mills, who serves as executive vice president for unscripted and alternative entertainment at Walt Disney Television.
Pearce expressed his eagerness about teaming up with Craig Erwich, Rob Mills, and their talented crews at Disney Television Entertainment. These individuals are responsible for producing some of the most imaginative and captivating shows on television. He’s thrilled to strengthen existing partnerships and work together on fresh concepts as well as familiar favorites.
At Objective Media, Pearce oversaw numerous productions, serving as executive producer for shows like CBS’s game show Lingo, TBS’ The Cube, Max’s 12 Dates of Christmas, and PBS’ The Great American Recipe, to name a few. Before joining Objective Media, she gained experience at Channel 4 in the U.K. and MTV.
