As a long-time BTS fan and someone who has patiently waited for Jin‘s solo debut, I must say my heart is racing with anticipation! Having followed Jin’s journey since his military service, it feels like a momentous occasion that he’s finally ready to share his personal thoughts and feelings on happiness through his album “Happy.
BTS’s Jin is set to launch his first solo album titled “Happy“. Notably, he was recently discharged from the South Korean military in June, becoming the initial member of the group to fulfill the required 18-month military duty.
Fans have eagerly awaited the new album, as Jin released his initial solo single titled “Astronaut” back in 2022. Titled “Happy“, this six-track collection allows Jin to express his genuine thoughts and feelings about what happiness means to him. It’s hoped that listeners will find joy from the album as well, as suggested by HYBE’s press release.
Two days post my LP announcement, I unveiled the official tracklist. My lead single is titled “Running Wild.” The pre-release track, “I’ll Be There,” is set for release on October 25th. The album is completed with “Another Level,” “Falling,” “I will come to you,” and “Heart on the Window” featuring WENDY from the K-pop group Red Velvet.
Apart from Happy, Jin has worked alongside Gary Barlow from the British pop group Take That, as well as Taka and Toru of the popular Japanese rock band ONE OK ROCK.
Jin’s debut solo LP Happy is out for streaming on November 15.
