As a devoted League of Legends enthusiast with a soft spot for engaging animated series, I must say that the latest sneak peek for Arcane’s second season left me positively giddy! Growing up in the digital battlefields of Summoner’s Rift, I’ve witnessed countless skirmishes between Piltover and Zaun. Yet nothing could have prepared me for the emotional rollercoaster that was the first season of Arcane.
Before the much-awaited debut of the second and concluding season of Arcane, Netflix unveiled a preview of the upcoming events featuring siblings Vi and Jinx.
In the finale of the series, Jinx converted a hextech gemstone into a rocket launcher and pointed it at the Piltover Council, an action that probably terminated any peaceful agreement between Piltover and Zaun, hinting towards potential conflict or even civil war between these two cities in the future.
In the opening of the teaser for the new season, Jinx is on the run through the alleyways of Zaun carrying a mysterious package, likely fleeing repercussions for her attack on the Piltover Council. When Jinx is attacked by a group of thugs, she drops the package but fortuitously, as she’s being cornered, the thugs are intercepted by Sevika’s sudden return.
In the realm of League of Legends, actress Ella Purnell provides the voice for Jinx in the series Arcane, while Hailee Steinfeld voices her sister Vi. For the second season, we’ll see Elsa Davoine as Caitlyn, Reed Shannon as Ekko, Kevin Alejandro as Jayce, Brett Tucker as Singed, Mick Wingert as Heimerdinger, and Harry Lloyd as Viktor return to their respective roles.
Check out the latest teaser for “Arcane” season two, available just above. This exciting series is set to launch on our streaming platform in November.
