Last year, JJJJound and adidas initiated their partnership by launching a high-end Made in Germany variant of the consistently popular Samba design. Two color schemes for these shoes were released in March, followed by a different project that came out in June. Now, they are transitioning from one cherished model to another as they focus on the iconic Superstar with shell toe.
Back in December, we got an advance peek at a special edition of the JJJJound x adidas Superstar, known as “Core Black,” made in Japan. Now, we have our first glimpse of the German-made version, dubbed “Off White.” This premium redesign features an “Off White” hue dominating most parts of the shoe, while black accents the Three Stripes and heel tab. Gold highlights the lateral’s “JJJJound” logo, and a warm tan shade adorns the lining.
Currently, neither JJJJound nor adidas have announced an exact date for the release of their collaborative “Off White” Superstar colorway. Nevertheless, some retailers like BSTN are planning to stock this item starting February 1 for a price of $250 USD. Keep an eye out for further updates, as we anticipate more details about its Made in Japan “Core Black” counterpart and the official launch of the campaign to emerge soon.
