Joel Kim Booster Apologies to Shannon Beador After Alleging She Mistreated Crew on ‘Real Housewives’ Dating Show

As a seasoned gamer who has seen countless reality TV shows and their behind-the-scenes drama, I must say that the apology from Joel Kim Booster to Shannon Storms Beador feels authentic and heartfelt. It’s not every day we see someone own up to their mistakes so openly and sincerely.

Joel Kim Booster recently issued an apology to Shannon Storms Beador, following his criticism of her on social media several weeks ago.

Last month, Fire Island star and producer publicly accused Beador of mistreating crew members during filming for their upcoming Peacock show “Real Housewives” spin-off titled “Love Hotel”. Initially, Booster, who is said to be the host of this series, has expressed regret over his earlier statements.

After carefully considering and reflecting on the situation, he admitted on his Instagram Story on Friday that he was indeed the one who made those posts. He regretted that a past conflict had influenced his actions, leading him to tap into his most negative side and express views he doesn’t support or agree with. He sincerely apologizes for giving in to his worst instincts.

He acknowledged that Shannon has had a particularly challenging year, given her bravery in facing her issues. As someone who has experienced similar struggles myself, I should have shown more understanding towards her in that situation. He continued, referencing her DUI and hit-and-run arrest in September 2023. He expressed regret for adding to the difficulties she’s faced on her journey towards stability, and hopes she emerges stronger, healthier, and with the love she deserves in life.

Booster expressed, “It’s unfortunate that this became a part of our show’s narrative, given how deeply I admire the effort, the ladies, and the team who made it happen. Our crew and production staff are nothing short of amazing, and I would stand by each and every one of them in battle.

On September 29th, after the wrap-up event for the latest reality show on Peacock, the actor from “Loot” publicly criticized the reality television personality. He accused Beador of behaving disrespectfully towards individuals on set, implying that she treated them in a manner below human dignity.

Even though someone is known for their multiple failed relationships, DUIs, and reality TV fame due to being a frequent drunk doesn’t mean they are a star or entitled to mistreat those they work with as if they are inferior beings. Full stop.” Booster shared this on his Instagram Story (and it has since been deleted), but if you’d like to see the videos, feel free to message me privately. Kisses!

Last week, Beador was questioned about his remarks made on the Shannon & Vicki Live! show held in Irvine, California, which featured fellow Real Housewives of Orange County alumnus Vicki Gunvalson.

She stated that it’s puzzling since the night before the wrap party, he showed signs of tears and expressed ‘I’m so happy for you.’ This implies that his affection towards her throughout the show was unwavering and genuine.

Beador went on to say, “It’s quite unacceptable.” What saddens me is that I performed some good deeds during the show and people labeled me as kind, so it’s difficult for me to part ways from an enjoyable experience, given this negative turn. Time will tell what the future holds. Frankly, I’m puzzled about where this came from. Honestly, I can’t say.

Peacock failed to reply when The Hollywood Reporter asked for a comment following Booster’s earlier statements.
