John Mulaney Returns to Broadway With Fred Armisen, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Chloe Fineman

As a long-time fan of John Mulaney’s comedic genius, I couldn’t be more thrilled about his return to Broadway this winter! With a stellar cast that includes some of my favorite SNL stars and other talented performers, it’s shaping up to be an unforgettable show.

John Mulaney is returning to Broadway this winter as part of a comedic show with a rotating cast.

The upcoming comedy series, titled “All In: Comedy About Love,” will initially be headlined by comedian John Mulaney for the first five weeks. Joining him will be a star-studded cast that includes Fred Armisen and Chloe Fineman from Saturday Night Live, Renée Elise Goldsberry from Girls5Eva, and Richard Kind, who has collaborated with Mulaney on various projects such as his Netflix Special “Everybody’s In LA.” In the following ten weeks, the show will feature a regularly changing cast of four actors. Further casting details for this rotating lineup will be revealed at a later time.

The play penned by Simon Rich starts performing at the Hudson Theater on December 11th. Goldsberry will be present for shows running from December 11th to December 30th, while Fineman will join in from January 2nd to January 12th.

The performance consists of a string of comical vignettes on topics such as courtship, heartache, wedlock, and other related themes, inspired by tales previously published in The New Yorker magazine by author Rich. As portrayed, our characters may assume various roles – pirates, dogs, even British nobility – but the underlying message remains constant: the essence of life lies in the people we choose to spend it with.

In the production titled “All In“, Alex Timbers takes the helm, making it their fourth joint project with Mulaney following his comedy specials “Kid Gorgeous” and “Baby J”, as well as their previous Broadway show, “Oh, Hello” (co-directed with Nick Kroll). Notably, Rich and Mulaney previously collaborated as writers on Saturday Night Live.

Seaview and Lorne Michaels are producing with New Yorker Studios.
