Jonah Hill is set to direct and star in the comedy feature Cut Off for Warner Bros.
The movie secured a $10 million tax break in California and plans to start filming towards the end of this year. Titled Cut Off, the story revolves around a duo of fraternal twins whose financial support from their affluent parents is abruptly cut off.
Recently, Hill completed filming on the upcoming Apple movie titled “Outcome,” set to be released towards the end of this year. The movie features Hill sharing screen time with Keanu Reeves, Cameron Diaz, and Matt Bomer. Hill was also a producer for the film under his Strong Baby label, working alongside Matt Dines and Ali Goodman.
Strong Baby is also behind the Benito Skinner-led series Overcompensating from Amazon and A24.
Previously, Hill has directed films such as “Mid90s” and the Netflix documentary titled “Stutz.” Notably, he is associated with talent agencies like WME, LBI, and Narrative, as well as attorney Kevin Yorn.
