The actor expressed, “Given that I joined the Wicked crew rather late due to them already commencing filming, it was a remarkable gesture by Marc Platt to make it all work out. There’s no sensation quite like juggling priorities – whether it’s mastering choreography today, refining my American accent, or preparing for another Bridgerton kiss.

Jonathan Bailey Steals the Show as Fiyero Tigelaar in ‘Wicked’

In the musical “Wicked”, Bailey plays Fiyero Tigelaar, the prince from Winkie Country who meets Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo) and Glinda (Ariana Grande) at school. Initially, he seems self-centered and quickly becomes romantically attached to Glinda, but as he interacts with Elphaba, his kinder, less selfish side emerges, suggesting that he’s much more complex than his initial impression. It seems as though these numerous projects might have put some strain on Bailey, but if you were to ask him directly, it would appear that the only noticeable sign of stress was his hair due to the various hairstyles for each role. In his words, “I’d say I managed to keep going quite well, and then at the end I got a five-day vacation, but my hair had actually died from all the perming and straightening because I needed to perm my hair for Bridgerton and straighten it for [Fellow Travelers]. It was like I was in a teenage beauty advertisement with everything I did to my hair.
