Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai Re-Release: Hrithik Roshan’s on-screen brother recalls being heartbroken during THIS scene; ‘I was so upset…’

The news about Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai returning to cinemas is sparking a surge of enthusiasm and fond memories. Actor Abhishek Sharma, who was merely 10 when it was made, portrayed Hrithik Roshan’s younger sibling in the movie directed by Rakesh Roshan. Recently, he reminisced about one particularly emotional experience, recounting how devastated he felt when Roshan’s character perished, expressing, “I was heartbroken because my brother had passed away.

Reflecting on my chat with India Today, I shared how the demise of my character, Rohit, in the movie left me with a heavy heart. To be honest, I was quite distraught by the loss. Yet, having Hrithik Roshan around on set every day provided me with a sense of comfort during those tough times.

He warmly reminisced about that touching moment when they tenderly touched each other’s faces, an event still etched in the minds of fans. Although he hasn’t spoken to Hrithik or Rakesh Roshan recently, he expressed a wish to rekindle those relationships in the time to come.

Regarding Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek commended his modesty and hard work. He mentioned that during breaks, Hrithik would listen to music, memorize lines, practice dance moves, or refine action scenes. “It’s due to this dedication that he has reached where he is now,” Abhishek stated.

Apart from reminiscing about Hrithik’s generosity, Abishek also shared an amusing story about how the actor from War 2 would share his strawberry protein shake with him. Later, Hrithik even had his team provide him with the same drink in a small bottle. Abhishek chuckled as he remembered imitating Hrithik’s quirky habit of shaking the sipper before drinking, which made Hrithik laugh heartily.

Abhishek revealed that as the youngest on set, he enjoyed plenty of fun and was cared for by everyone. He added that Rakesh Roshan might have been stern, but his compassionate and encouraging demeanor significantly boosted his performance. The movie “Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai” will be back in theaters on January 10, 2025.
