Given that the show masterfully concluded with a triple cliffhanger, viewers have much to anticipate when it eventually airs again. Speculation about the Game Master villain abounds, but Kaitlin Olson’s character, Morgan, will undoubtedly face numerous challenges in the upcoming season. I’m quite keen on seeing more of that, and I hope she stumbles occasionally, as I mentioned earlier. It can get rather monotonous watching someone excel every time, and it loses its charm. The scenes with the children are my favorite. I’d be thrilled to witness more instances of her son’s unique talents and the challenges they present for him. We hinted at school friendships during the last season, but there’s so much untapped potential there. The same can be said about Ava’s storyline; it could reveal her struggles or unexpected successes, which might create tension between Ava, Morgan, and Elliot.

It’s delightful to witness Morgan excelling in solving cases, showcasing her skills. Yet, I yearn for glimpses of her flaws as well, observing her stumble occasionally. Not something catastrophic enough to alter the entire series, but rather a minor mistake – one that she can learn from and reminisce about with amusement later on.

Additionally, exploring more aspects of her life beyond her relationship with Tom could offer a richer understanding of her personality. Since the series has now moved into its second season and is gaining momentum, delving deeper into Morgan’s past and her children’s background would be an excellent opportunity for character development.

Apart from discussing other aspects about Ava’s father, Olson also expressed a desire to emphasize Morgan’s neurodivergent mind, exploring the unique talent she possesses or may not have, and understanding her feelings of solitude associated with it. Moreover, we are curious to gain further insights into Morgan’s relationships with her children, as well as other aspects of her life.
