As a gamer who’s been spinning tracks since the days of cassette tapes, I can confidently say that Kal Banx and Isaiah Rashad have been crafting some top-notch beats that resonate deep within the soul of hip-hop connoisseurs like myself. Their latest collaboration, “Sunstory,” is yet another testament to their undeniable chemistry in the studio.

Top Dawg Entertainment artists Kal Banx and Isaiah Rashad have worked together on numerous tracks, some of which include “What U Sed” with Doechii and “Deep Blue” with Young Nudy, along with many other productions by Banx for Rashad. They’ve teamed up once more to release a single titled “Sunstory,” where these experienced collaborators are back in their musical comfort zone.

The chorus goes like this: “Living life on the highway to keep them at a distance / Still tripping on those city lights to lull a youthful face to sleep.” In this song, Banx contributes both lyrics and the track’s production.

Recently, Banx has lent his production skills to fellow TDE artist Ab-Soul for the song “Crazier” featuring JID on Ab’s upcoming album after his break, and he has also made occasional contributions to Doechii’s critically acclaimed mixtape titled “Alligator Bites Never Heal.
