Despite numerous fans hoping to witness Kareena Kapoor Khan in a Hollywood production, the actress has repeatedly made it clear that she doesn’t feel compelled to pursue such opportunities. Instead, she is content with her existing work commitments. In a recent interview, The Buckingham Murders star expressed her views on international projects, saying, “I have accomplished everything I aimed for, and I never nurtured an intense desire to penetrate Hollywood or act in English-speaking films.

In a chat with Harper’s Bazaar, the star of Jab We Met happily shared that she’s content with her life and career, as she has achieved all her goals. She enjoys the fact that her work is valued worldwide and emphasized that she didn’t yearn to conquer Hollywood or perform in films made in English. Instead, she noted that her aspirations revolve around fulfilling, authentic work and remaining true to herself. The actress admitted to being ambitious, but also expressed humility about what she already has and where she currently stands.

Actress Chameli, renowned for her stylish flair, made it clear she’d rather be acknowledged for her professional accomplishments instead of just her looks. She pointed out that she’s never deliberately focused on that part of her life, expressing a transformation in her outlook over the last ten years. Now, she feels significantly happier and more at ease with where she is now.

In terms of her professional commitments, Kareena Kapoor Khan will soon appear in “The Buckingham Murders,” a thriller directed by Hansal Mehta. This movie is scheduled to hit theaters on September 13, 2024. Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and Kareena herself are the producers of this film. The screenplay for the movie has been written by Aseem Arrora, Raghav Raj Kakker, and Kashyap Kapoor. Apart from Kareena, Ash Tandon, Keith Allen, Ranveer Brar, and others make up the cast of this production.

Reports state that The Buckingham Murders is set to be released in two different versions. To preserve its authenticity, one of these versions will remain in its native English language, with an option for a Hindi-dubbed version being provided to cater to some Indian viewers. Given that the story unfolds in Buckingham, England, the local characters communicate in English, while those of Indian descent speak Hinglish (a mix of Hindi and English) with accents.

Khan is set to add another project directed by Rohit Shetty, “Singham Again,” to her list of films. This highly anticipated movie is scheduled for release on November 1, 2024.
